What Pro Football News Hub Is

Pro Football News Hub is the portfolio's answer to a simple question: what if a fan didn't have to choose a league? It covers the NFL, CFL, college football, the UFL and the IFL in one place — live scores, standings, stat leaders, team hubs, injury reports, depth charts and bye weeks — and lets a reader pick their teams once so the rest of the site follows them.

Then it becomes a fantasy command center. Connect a Sleeper league and every week brings start/sit calls with the points they're worth, matchup ranks, waiver pickups from the league's own free agents, and every headline about the roster. It runs on the same News Hub Fantasy data layer as our other sports platforms, so a fifth league was a configuration change, not a new data team.

The problem

A football fan who follows an NFL team, a college team and a spring league checks a different site for each — and none of them know what's on that fan's fantasy roster. Every source is generic, and stitching it together is left to the reader.

What We Built

Five leagues, one feed

Scores, standings, rosters, leaders and injury reports for the NFL, CFL, NCAA, UFL and IFL, ordered the way the reader chooses — their college team's news never gets buried under the NFL.

Sleeper-connected start/sit

Link a Sleeper league and get the lineup that scores the most, how kind each matchup has been to the position, and waiver targets drawn from that league's actual free agents.

DFS lineup builder and P&L

DraftKings salaries and News Hub Fantasy projections in an optimiser that fills a lineup under the cap, plus a tracker that turns an uploaded contest history into a real profit-and-loss number.

Free leagues and survivor pools

Season-long fantasy leagues that can start any week, weekly pick'em and survivor pools — all free, with no entry fees, prizes or wagering, by design.

Personal alerts and briefings

Push notifications when news hits a player on the reader's roster or pool pick, and a weekly briefing delivered on the day and hour they choose.

Built for AI assistants

An MCP connector lets Claude, ChatGPT and other assistants answer questions about a reader's own teams, leagues and start/sit — the site is readable by the tools people are starting to search with.

Why this matters for you

Personalisation, third-party account sync, an optimiser and an AI connector on top of a shared data layer — this is a product, not a news site. The same pattern of one data source feeding many surfaces is how we keep client systems from multiplying their own maintenance.

Questions About Pro Football News Hub

Why cover five leagues instead of only the NFL?

Because fans don't stop at one. The NFL is the most competitive football niche online; a fan who also follows a college team or the CFL is underserved everywhere else. Covering all of them in one personalised feed is the differentiator a single-league site can't copy.

Does the site handle money for fantasy or DFS?

No. Leagues and pools are free with no entry fees or prizes, and the DFS profit-and-loss only reads the user's own uploaded results. Keeping money out entirely was a deliberate product and risk decision.

What is the MCP connector for?

It lets AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT read the site's data — and, with permission, a user's own teams and leagues — so people can ask questions in plain English. As more search moves into assistants, being usable by them is the next version of being indexable.
